Sydney Marathon Run Club

What is the Sydney Marathon Run Club?

The Sydney Marathon Run Club was established in 2023 to assist our Sydney Marathon participants join a welcoming inclusive and supportive community to assist in their Sydney Marathon training journey, as well as finding out more information face-to-face about the event, whilst following our tailored 16-week training program for beginner, intermediate and advanced runners every Sunday morning across various Sydney locations.

We saw an incredible community grow, with over 1,200 runners attending across the events, helping hundreds of runners attempting the Sydney Marathon for the first time in 2023.

So it only made sense that we should continue to grow the positive impacts the run club is having, and with the support of run clubs across Australia, the Sydney Marathon across the country!

This year, we will be facilitating more run clubs in Sydney and across Australia. There will be monthly Sydney Marathon Run Club events – hosted by the Sydney Marathon at Hickson Park, Millers Point (near Crown Tower) – as well as many Sydney Marathon Run Club supported events, through our Run Club partners below. These supported events run across Sydney, wider NSW, and around many states in Australia – and are all free and welcome to anyone to join!
